Connectr app imports all the available images of the parent SKU from Amazon. In addition, the app provides two options for importing images of variant (child) SKUs:
Option 1: Import one image per variant SKU
Option 2: Import all images of all variant SKUs
Say, you have a product with 2 variants - Variant A and Variant B having 5 images each. Selecting Option 1 will import one primary image of each variant, importing a total of 2 variant images. With Option 2 the app will import all 10 variant images. In both the options, all the images of the parent SKU will be imported by default.
Shopify displays all the images of a product together on the product page, irrespective of the selected variant. This might overcrowd the product page with too many images.
If you want to use Option 2, we recommend using the variant image selector app - Clever Product Variants - to display images based on the selected variants.
